10-07 Maker Fair

Before class:

- Post your Maker project link to the Padlet, like what we did with the Tool Commercial project.

- Check on a classmate's computer to see if your project shows up properly on your portfolio site.

Maker Fair

Today you'll share your final product to your classmates in the form of a MakerFair. First, share it with your table (no more than 4 people). Talk with each other about how you made it and why you made it that way and what you have learnt. Ask each other questions, make comments and, give each other suggestions (face to face or on Padlet).

Then, after 10 minutes, you'll switch to a new group to continue to learn about more projects. Feel free to use the monitors on the wall if it helps your demonstration.

Mid-term evaluation:

We are half-way through this semester. I would like to hear your genuine opinions about this class before we move on the the second half. So please take this survey and let me know what you think.

HOMEWORK:

1. Work on your Genius Hour project. Post #1 due October 11th, before class. You may start your initial research and prepare for Post #2 if you have already finished Post #1.

2. By Wednesday, 10-09, read this article about computational thinking. We'll focus on this topic during the next two weeks.
