I have posted grades for UDL Challenge and Tool Commercial Project. Check your grades on eLC and let me know if you have questions regarding your grades.
Shout-outs for the UDL assignment to Chandler and Caroline H. I'll let you shout out to your classmates for the Tool Commercial Project when we finish the Tools Fair
As I have mentioned before, if you submit your assignment on time but got a grade lower than 80%, you can resubmit and the highest grade you can get is 80%. If you submit late, you'll only get partial grade.
Tools Fair on Padlet:
Add your Tool Commercial Project to the Padlet wall so that everyone can view your project on their own laptop. You will take turns to introduce your tools to people in your group and ask each other questions. You can comment and rate each other's projects on Padlet.
Groups are assigned based on the varieties of tools. We'll do this in two rounds:
Round 1 (18minutes)

HOMEWORK:
1. Work on your maker project, Due on Monday, Feb 10th, before class. You have two independent work days: Feb 05 & Feb 07; there will be no class. But I'll be available to meet with you online by appointment (during class time or at another day/time).
2. Maker project update on Flipgrid is due by Friday, Feb 7th, at 11:59 pm; this will be counted towards the your grade of this project. Go here to record your video: https://flipgrid.com/7db97028. If you’re using the FlipGrid app, use the code: 7db97028.
Here are the requirements of Maker Project.
After exploring the maker tools – think of a project you’d like to do: design a comic strip, create a short piece of music, make a green screen video, write a piece of code using Tynker, etc. My expectation is that you’ll choose a project that will take 3 to 4 hours to complete (assuming you’re not a perfectionist).
Build your project – then, link it / add a screenshot / whatever makes sense for your project to your "Maker Project" page on your portfolio.
Write a 500-800 word reflection describing your maker experience and insert it to your "Maker Project" page. In your reflection, describe your making process, discuss how experiences like this might support K-12 student learning. How does this activity relate to readings on creativity and maker education? It’s never a bad idea to quote readings – especially if you decide to include references to previous week’s readings (this is a great place to talk about meaningful learning with technology or UDL.)
Don’t forget to publish the changes. Be sure to set your Google files (if you are using them) as "anyone can view".
