2. What materials do you need?
You’ll need access to technology – your own computer or one in a lab somewhere on campus. Mobile devices are helpful.
Textbook (optional)
Gonzalez, J. (2020). Teachers Guide to Technology (3rd ed.). Cult of Pedagogy.
(The textbook introduces a wide variety of technological tools and resources that can be used for education. The publisher has provided us with a 50% discount, but it’s important that you follow the directions in order to pay the correct price of $12.50. I have no way to access your account or obtain a refund for you – so please make sure you are using the coupon code correctly and that you are not planning to drop the course. Today you’ll complete 1 out of 4 learning centers that are designed to help you get a better idea of what this class is about while getting to know some of your classmates. We’ll complete all 4 centers during our first 3 class meetings before drop/add.
